Ramkrishnapur Primary School

It’s a bit of an interesting spot for a school, being in a building like that, but it works for what we need. New Survey Road is a place many people know well. We have our space set up for the primary kids. It’s mostly just small desks and chairs and colorful things on the walls to make it look a bit more like a school. We spend our mornings getting the rooms ready and our afternoons cleaning up. There is always something to do, whether it’s fixing a light or just moving things around to make more space. The building itself has some character to it, being an older structure. We don’t have a massive playground, but we make do with what we have. It’s a local place through and through. The staff lives nearby, and we see the same families every single day. We don't really bother with any big advertisements or anything like that. We just stay here at number 13 and do our job. It gets a bit chilly in the winter here in Dehradun, so we all wear our sweaters and keep the doors shut to stay warm while we work. We like being part of the New Survey Road community.
