Rangamati Chandpara Primary School

Rangamati Chandpara Primary School is located right in the Dehradun Cantt area. It’s a bit of a different vibe out here compared to the rest of the city. Being in the Cantt means it’s a bit more orderly and quiet on the streets, but once you get inside the school gates, it’s as loud as any other place filled with kids. We’ve got the little ones running around from morning until the early afternoon when the final bell rings. The address is 248003, and most of the families who live nearby send their children here for their first years of schooling. It’s a primary school, so we deal with a lot of energy and sometimes a few tears when someone scrapes a knee. The teachers have a lot on their plates, keeping everyone focused on their ABCs and basic numbers. The building is older, but it has plenty of character and some nice big windows. We have a small playground where the kids spend their breaks playing tag or just sitting in the shade. It’s not a massive campus, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We don't try to be anything other than a local school for the local community. During the monsoon, the trees around the Cantt get really green and it looks quite nice from the classroom windows. We follow the usual schedule, and things are pretty predictable. It’s about getting through the lessons and making sure the kids are safe. That’s what a normal day looks like for us.
