Our place is over on Sahastradhara Road, specifically in the Gujrada Rural part of Dehradun. We are located at Jagat Singh Negi’s property. It is a busy road these days with lots of new buildings going up, but our corner is still relatively quiet. We deal with food and drinks, so there is always something being moved around or refrigerated. The workspace isn't huge, but we make it work by being smart about where we stack the crates. Running a business in this part of Uttarakhand means dealing with the occasional power cut or the traffic jams on the main road, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big corporate office or a floor full of managers. It’s just us and the delivery guys coming in and out. Most of the work involves checking the inventory and making sure the bottles are stored correctly so they don't get too warm. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and counting stock by hand. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot and keep going until the last truck is loaded. It is a practical sort of job. We don't spend time on long meetings or planning sessions. We just see what needs to be done each morning and we get to work doing it. It’s a decent way to spend the day without having to overcomplicate things.
