Food Production & Processing

Our location for Mc D is at Miyanwala Chowk, near the Harrawala post office on Haridwar Road in Dehradun. The pin code is 248001. It is a very busy spot because of all the traffic coming in and out of the city. We spend our shifts mostly in the kitchen or standing at the front counter. It gets very hot near the fryers and the grills, and there is always a lot of noise from the machines and the customers talking. We are just a group of local people from Uttarakhand working here to serve food as quickly as we can. It is not a glamorous job, and the floors get messy pretty fast when it rains outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and making sure we have enough supplies for the next rush of people. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed when a big group comes in all at once, but we just keep working through the orders. We don't have any mission statements or fancy goals; we just want to make sure the food is ready and the customers are fed. Most of us live nearby and walk or take a bus to get here. It is a simple life of working shifts and dealing with the daily chaos of a busy roadside food place. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood here in Dehradun, doing what we do every single day without any fuss.
