Our workspace is over at Single Mandi III, number 76/1, in the 248001 area of Dehradun. Ei Kitchen'S Private Limited operates from this busy part of town. If you know the Mandi, you know it’s always crowded and there’s a lot of noise from the trucks and the traders. We’ve been here for a while and have gotten used to the constant hustle. The office itself is quite plain, with some old wooden furniture and stacks of ledgers piled up on the shelves. We don't have a big HR department or any of those corporate layers. It’s just us, working on kitchen-related food business stuff every day. Dehradun can be beautiful when the weather is clear, but down here in the Mandi, it’s mostly just hard work and keeping an eye on the clock. We spend our time managing orders and talking to people about supplies. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. There’s usually someone drinking tea in the corner or a delivery guy waiting for a signature. We aren't interested in being flashy or using big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the daily tasks finished so we can go home. Sometimes the traffic makes things move slowly, but that’s just part of being in Dehradun. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
