Ashmita Food Products Private Limited

Our place is over at Danda Lakhond, right off Shastradhara Road in Dehradun. We share the space with Padam Kishore’s property. Dehradun is a nice place to work, especially with the hills nearby, though we spend most of our time inside the facility. At Ashmita Food Products, we mostly focus on getting things packaged and ready for the market. It’s a small operation, so you’ll usually find us hands-on with the daily tasks. Sometimes we’re labeling boxes, other times we’re checking the inventory. Shastradhara Road can get pretty crowded on the weekends, but we keep our heads down and stay busy. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on making things that people actually want to eat. The weather here in Dehradun affects how we work sometimes, especially when it rains hard and the roads get slow. We’ve had to learn a lot about how to keep food fresh and how to manage a small warehouse. It’s not always easy, and there are days when things don't go according to plan. But we just show up and try to do better the next day. Being based in Danda Lakhond means we're part of a quiet neighborhood, which we like. We’re just a small group of people working hard on our food products and making sure everything is done right. It's a simple life for us.
