Purnaranya Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over at Pawan Kumar’s place in Dhamdaha. We are a group of people from the local area who spend our days farming. It is what we have always done and what we know best. We thought it would be a good idea to form this company so we could work together on the business side of things instead of being alone. Dhamdaha is where our fields are and where we live our lives. We don't have any big corporate office with fancy chairs or computers. We usually just meet up and talk about what needs to be done on the land. It's a lot of hard work and we are out in the sun for most of the day. We grow different things depending on the time of year and the weather. Sometimes the market is good and sometimes it is really tough. Being a producer company helps us deal with those ups and downs better. We don't have any big marketing plans or strategies. We just focus on our crops and making sure they grow well. Everyone in the group knows each other well. We are neighbors first and business partners second. It is a very simple and practical setup for all of us. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of. There is nothing fancy about what we do. We are just farmers in Dhamdaha doing what needs to be done every single day to keep the land productive.
