Grain City

Grain City is located in Jaynagar in the Madhubani district. We are set up right near the Kali Mandir which is a big landmark for everyone around here. This part of the country is all about agriculture and we are right in the middle of it. We spend our time handling different types of grains and making sure they get to where they need to go. The smell of raw grain and jute bags is something we are very used to. It gets very crowded near the temple during the festival seasons so we have to plan our truck movements carefully. We don't have a fancy storefront or a big website. Most of our work is done through word of mouth and people just stopping by the warehouse. It is a lot of loading and unloading and keeping track of the bags. The floor is always a bit dusty and the office is just a desk in the corner of the shed. We know the local farmers and the traders who come through Jaynagar. It is a very traditional way of doing business where a handshake still means something. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the grain stays dry and clean. It is honest work that keeps the local economy going and we have been doing it this way for a long time.
