Tulip Bar & Restaurant

We’ve been here at Hotel Blue Lagoon in Nani, Daman for quite a while now. Tulip Bar & Restaurant is basically what you see when you head toward the Tin Batti area. It’s right opposite Goa Bank. Daman has this specific feel, especially near the coast, and being in Nani means there’s always people moving around. Most folks know the spot because it’s easy to find once you’re near the bank. We just run things day to day. Some days are busy with travelers staying at the hotel, and other times it’s just locals stopping by. The building is simple. We don't really do much fancy stuff. It’s just us trying to keep things going. You walk in, you see the tables, and you hear the noise from the street outside. Tin Batti is a landmark everyone uses, so we just tell people we are right near there. It’s a practical location. Sometimes the humid weather makes things a bit slow, but that’s just how it is in Daman. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just the staff here making sure people get what they ordered. Nothing more to it. If you are around Nani, you probably passed by us without even thinking about it. We’ve seen the area change a bit over the years, new shops coming up and all, but we’re still here in the same spot at the Blue Lagoon. It’s just a regular place for a drink or a meal.
