Sagar Sun Restaurant

Our restaurant is part of the Sagar Sun Resort out on Devka Road in the Dhamatne area of Nani Daman. Being near the coast, we get a lot of people who are here on holiday or just visiting for the weekend. The air always has a bit of salt in it from the sea. We’ve been operating here for quite a while now. The place isn't one of those high-end luxury spots; it’s more of a place where families can feel comfortable. We have plenty of space, which is nice when the resort gets full. The staff here are mostly local people who know the area well. We spend our days getting the tables ready and making sure the kitchen is stocked for the evening rush. It’s a bit more relaxed here than in the middle of a big city. People come in wearing their flip-flops after spending time at the beach. We don't mind that at all. It’s just how things are in Daman. We keep the menu simple and try to make sure everyone finds something they like. Sometimes the sea breeze makes it hard to keep things perfectly in place, but that’s part of the charm. We just stay open and wait for the sun to go down each night. It's a nice place to work and see people enjoying their time off with their families.
