Bijal Bar And Restaurant is down in Patel Falia, right on the Vapi Kachigam Road. We are pretty close to the Kachigam Char Rasta, which stays busy with all the industrial traffic coming through Daman. If you know the area, you probably know the Daman Ganga Garden is just a short walk away from us. Most of the people who come in are local workers looking for a cold drink and a meal after a long shift in the heat. It gets very hot around here, so we keep the fans going as fast as they will spin. The floor is made of hard tile that we mop a few times a day because of all the boots coming in and out. It is a straightforward kind of place with no frills. We have been serving the neighborhood for a while, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. The bar gets a bit loud in the evenings when the sun goes down and everyone relaxes, but that is the best part of the day. We are not some high-end lounge; we are just a local spot where you can be yourself. The kitchen is always busy with the smell of spices, and we do our best to keep up when the tables fill up.
