Punjabi Tadka The Restaurant

Our restaurant is located on Mashal Chowk Road in the Kathira area of Daman. We are right across the street from the IDBI Bank and very close to the Sagar Petrol Pump. Daman has a certain kind of weather, often salty and humid, so we have to keep the place well-ventilated. The road outside stays busy with cars and bikes heading toward the coast or filling up at the pump. We have a decent-sized seating area with simple chairs and tables that we scrub down every single morning. It is a local spot where you might see families on the weekend or workers coming in for a quick lunch during the week. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights inside, just the regular stuff you need to run a kitchen. The staff mostly wears plain aprons and we spend our time prepping vegetables or cleaning the dishes. You can hear the sound of the traffic outside and the occasional honk from a truck at the petrol pump. We like to keep the windows open when it isn't too hot to let a bit of a breeze in. It is an honest kind of place where the tea is always hot and the staff is usually busy moving between the kitchen and the tables. We don't go for anything fancy, just a steady rhythm of cooking and serving whoever stops by while they are out on the road.
