Jatin Bar & Restaurant

Jatin Bar & Restaurant is sitting at Shop number 81 on the Main Road in Patalia, Daman. We are right opposite Mukesh Bar, so you can't really miss us if you are driving down that way. Daman is a place where people like to relax, and our spot is pretty much built for that. It’s a simple building on the main road, and we get a lot of people stopping in after they finish their work for the day. We have the usual tables and chairs, and we keep the bottles cold in the back. The evenings are our busiest time when the lights on the main road come on. It can get a bit loud with people talking and the music playing, but that’s just how a bar is. My brother and I run the place, and we do everything from pouring drinks to clearing the tables. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a plain, honest place to have a drink and some food. The coastal air in Daman is nice, though it can make things a bit humid sometimes. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regulars who live around Patalia. Most of them have been coming here for a long time. We open up in the late morning to get everything cleaned and the stock arranged. Then we just wait for the evening rush to start. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the local scene here on the main road.
