Swastik Trading Co.

You can find Swastik Trading Co. at 8/655, Samagara Galli, which is right off the Carstreet Cross Road. It’s one of those narrow lanes where you have to be careful when two carts try to pass each other. We’ve been in this building for as long as I can remember. The walls are thick, and the floors are stone. We trade in all kinds of general goods. It’s a traditional setup. We have a small storefront where people can come in and see what we have in stock. Behind that is where we keep the bulk of the items. It’s a bit dark in the back, but we know where everything is. We aren't trying to be the biggest trader in the city. We just want to serve the local shopkeepers who have been coming to us for years. My grandfather started this, and we still use some of his old furniture. It feels right to keep things the way they were. We don’t use much technology besides a basic computer for the bills. Most of our deals are done with a handshake and a talk over some tea. It’s a slow pace of life compared to the big malls, but we like it this way. The street gets very crowded during festival times, and we usually stay open late then. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the inventory stocked up correctly.
