We’ve been here at the Yeyyadi Industrial Estate for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, especially around blocks C-14, 15, and 16 where we do most of our daily work. If you walk by in the morning, you’ll hear the machines hum and see the trucks pulling in and out. We mostly focus on sorting machines and other stuff for the food industry. It gets pretty loud inside, especially when the color sorters are running. There’s about thirty of us here, some have been with us since the start and others are newer faces from around the area. We don’t really do fancy meetings or anything like that. Usually, it’s just a quick chat over tea to figure out what needs to get done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out or a part doesn’t show up on time, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s honest work. The workshop floor is always covered in bits of metal and dust, but that’s just how it goes when you’re building things. We try to get the orders out as fast as we can, though sometimes things take longer than expected because we want to make sure things are right before they leave the gate. Most of our neighbors in the estate are doing similar things, so it’s a good community to be part of. We’re just regular people trying to keep the machines running and the business moving along.
