Deep Overseas

We've been here in Baikampady for a while now. Deep Overseas is just us working out of Achal Inds. It's usually noisy because of the other units nearby. We handle a lot of paperwork and boxes. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy and we have to move stuff away from the door. It's not a fancy office. Most days it's just about getting the orders sorted and out the gate. We have a small team. Everyone knows each other's business. It gets hot in the afternoons. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of crates get in the way. People call us asking for status updates all the time. My desk is covered in sticky notes. We've stayed in this spot because it's convenient for the trucks. You see the same drivers every week. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. Just the address. Sometimes we run out of packing tape at the worst time. That’s just how it goes here. We make do with what we have. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and checking lists. If the power goes out, we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a steady life. Nothing too crazy happens but we stay busy enough. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend most of our break time. It’s just a normal workplace, really.
