Srichathra Higher Secondary School

You’ll find us at number 69 on Stonehousepet Road, right in the heart of the Lakshmipuram area. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood, and we’ve been operating from this spot for quite a long time now. The school is a higher secondary one, so the students who come here are a bit older and usually quite focused on what they want to do after they graduate. Our building has seen a lot of years go by, and we do our best to keep it looking decent with a fresh coat of paint whenever we can afford it. We have a few labs for the science classes, and they are mostly filled with equipment that is a bit old but still works perfectly well for our experiments. The staff here is a real mix of people who have been here forever and a few newer teachers who just started. We don't have a lot of room for big outdoor events, so we usually just gather in the main hall or the small courtyard when we need to talk to everyone at once. Being on Stonehousepet Road means there is almost always some noise coming from the street, but you honestly get used to it after a few days. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do here. It’s just a school where we try to get the students through their exams and ready for life. We handle the paperwork and make sure the place stays open.
