Gayatri Degree College

If you walk down Prakasam Road in Tirupati, you’ll find us at number 164. Gayatri Degree College has been around for a while, and we’ve seen a lot of students pass through these doors. It’s a busy street, so there’s always noise from the traffic outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper or a lecturer talking. We have different floors for different subjects. We don’t have a massive campus with gardens, but we have enough benches and desks. People come here to get their degrees and move on with their lives. The staff here mostly minds their own business, making sure the registers are updated and the exams happen on time. Tirupati is a busy place, and being on Prakasam Road means we are right in the middle of it. Students often hang out near the entrance before classes start. We try to keep the place organized, though it gets a bit messy during the admission season. It’s just a regular college where people come to study. We don’t have fancy air conditioning in every room, but the windows stay open for air. It’s practical. You come here, you attend your lectures, you go to the library, and then you head home. We focus on the books and the exams because that’s what a degree college is supposed to do for the young people in our city.
