Sri Venkateshwara University

It's a hot day in Tirupati today, but that’s pretty normal for us at Sri Venkateshwara University. We are located in Andhra Pradesh, specifically at 517501. It’s a big area and there is always something going on with the students and the staff moving around all the time. Mentioning A.Venkata Ramanaiah is important because that is part of our local connection here in the office. The sun really beats down on the campus during the afternoons. Most of us try to stay in the shade or finish up our walking before the noon heat hits. It’s a busy place with people coming from all over the country to visit or study. We don't have a lot of flashy signs, just the usual buildings you'd expect. The hills are nearby, and you can see them on a clear day, which is nice for a change of scenery. Sometimes the crows get a bit loud in the trees outside the windows while we are working. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running and making sure everything is in its place. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to people day in and day out. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a few months. It doesn't feel like a big institution when you are sitting in the office; it feels more like a small town where everyone knows a face.
