Slate The School

Being located via Tanapalli Cross Road means we get a lot of people passing by on their way into Tirupati. It's a convenient spot for parents who live on this side of town near the Tirupathi Ho. The school building for Slate The School stands out a bit, but it's mostly just a practical space for the kids. We have classrooms that get plenty of light, which is nice. Most of the teachers have been with us for a good number of years. We don't spend a lot of time on big speeches or fancy brochures. Usually, if someone wants to know about us, they just walk in and ask. We show them the rooms and the playground. It’s a bit dusty outside sometimes because of the road, but we keep the inside tidy enough. During the lunch hour, the place is full of the smell of home-cooked food from the tiffin boxes. We have a small yard where the younger ones run around. Tirupati is a busy place with all the pilgrims and traffic, but back here at the school, things feel a bit more settled. We follow the standard schedule, starting with the morning assembly and ending in the afternoon. It’s a simple setup. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when there’s a local festival or an event. We just keep things moving and make sure the students are where they need to be. It’s a basic, honest way to run a school.
