We are located right on Prakasham Road here in Tirupati. It is a big campus and there is always something going on with the engineering students. You will see people carrying around heavy books or working late in the labs near the main building. It’s not a quiet place by any means. There is the sound of traffic from the road and the constant chatter of students heading to their next lecture. The buildings have been around for a while and you can tell by the way the hallways look, but they serve their purpose well enough. We have a lot of different departments tucked away in various corners. Most of the staff here have lived in Andhra Pradesh their whole lives so we know the area well. Lunchtimes are usually busy at the local stalls nearby. Sometimes the equipment in the workshops gets a bit old and needs fixing, but we manage to get the practical work done regardless. It is a place for studying hard and getting through the degree. We don't have many fancy lounges or anything like that, just classrooms, benches, and the usual university stuff. It feels like a real community once you get used to the layout. We spend most of our days making sure the schedules are followed and the labs stay open for those who need them. It’s just a normal engineering college where people come to put in the work and graduate.
