Bsr Junior & Degree College

The college is located at number 94 in the Thati Thopu area of Tirupati. It’s a place where you can feel the heat of the sun pretty much all year round. We have both junior and degree students here, so the age range is quite wide. The building is a standard structure that has seen a lot of batches pass through its doors. We don't have air conditioning or fancy lounge areas for the students. They sit on wooden benches and use the fans to keep cool while they listen to lectures. Thati Thopu is a well-known part of town, so finding us isn't hard for the locals. Many of our students come from the villages around Tirupati, taking the bus or riding their cycles in every morning. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and discuss the upcoming exams. It’s a very practical environment. We don't spend time on polished speeches or corporate slogans. We just focus on the textbooks and making sure the students understand what they are reading. The office is usually full of registers and old forms that we have to keep track of for the university. Life here follows the rhythm of the academic calendar. When it’s exam time, the whole place gets very quiet and serious, but otherwise, it’s just the usual chatter of young people in the corridors. We are just a local college trying to do our bit in this part of Tirupati.
