Accord School

Out at Door No 3-60 in Chiguruwada North Kandriga, things are a bit quieter than the main part of Tirupati. We are far enough from the temple crowds that it feels like a different world sometimes. Accord School is situated where you can see a bit more of the hills and the open sky. The road getting here can be a bit bumpy, especially after a heavy rain, but we are used to it by now. The building itself is functional and has plenty of windows to let the air in. We spend our mornings getting the classrooms ready and making sure the water tanks are full. There isn't a lot of fancy decor around here. We have some charts on the walls and the usual school furniture. Our staff comes from the nearby villages and the main town, so there is a good mix of people. We don't really use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the kids are in their seats and the teachers have what they need for the day. Sometimes the local monkeys come near the boundary wall, so we have to keep an eye on our lunch boxes. It’s a very basic, honest way of running a school. We just focus on the daily tasks and hope the weather stays nice. It is a long walk to the main road, so most people use their own scooters to get here.
