If you head over to Eswar Nagar in Puthalapattu, you'll find us right near Palli Street. We're a degree college that serves this part of Chittoor. The college is named Bheemeshwar, and it’s a pretty simple place for students to get their education. Most of our students come from the surrounding villages in Andhra Pradesh. They arrive by bus or walk from nearby, usually carrying their bags stuffed with notes and textbooks. We don't have any of that high-tech stuff you see in movies or at the big private universities. It’s just rows of wooden benches, some ceiling fans that have seen better days, and a lot of chalk dust on the floors. We spend the day going through the regular degree courses. The staff here are mostly local people who’ve been around for years. We know the families and the challenges the kids face around here. During the summers, it gets quite hot, so we try to keep things moving early in the day before it gets unbearable. There’s no big marketing team here; we just put up a few notices on the board and that’s it. It’s an honest place where we try to help students get their degrees so they can find work and help their families. Life in 517124 is quiet, and our college is just another part of that daily routine. We deal with the usual stuff like power cuts or late buses, but we just keep going.
