If you head down Pes College Road in Beggilipalle, you’ll run right into us. We’ve been operating the Pes Medical College here for quite some time. It's a bit of a trek for some, but once you get here, the campus is pretty spread out. We spend a lot of our time making sure the medical facilities are ready and the lecture halls are open for the students. It’s a big responsibility, I guess, but we don’t think about it like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. There is always something needing repair or someone looking for a specific office. The roads around here can get a bit dusty during the dry season, and you’ll often see students walking back and forth between the buildings. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a little chaotic when exams are coming up. Our team is just a group of regular people who know the medical field or how to keep a large building standing. We eat our lunch together when we can find the time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The college has been a part of the landscape here for a long time. People from the village often walk by and wave. It’s just a normal day for us, trying to stay on top of the paperwork and the practical side of things. We focus on the students and the building and not much else. It keeps us quite busy all day long.
