Tapovana Organic Farms

We set up Tapovana Organic Farms near the Darga Road Subway, specifically in the B.M. Hospital Complex at No. 41. It’s an interesting spot because we are right there in Zamin Pallavaram where things are quite busy. People are always surprised to find us so close to the hospital and the subway, but it works out well for people stopping by on their way home. We focus on organic stuff because we think it’s just a better way to do things. We don't have a giant farm right here at the office, obviously, but this is where we handle all the distribution and talk to our customers. It’s often a bit cramped with crates of produce coming in and out. We try to keep things organized, but on delivery days, it can get a bit messy. We are just a small group of people who care about food. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just talk to the farmers, get the stuff, and bring it here for people to buy. Sometimes the vegetables don't look perfect, which is just how nature is. We don't try to hide that. We just tell people what we have and they decide for themselves. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and we’ve made a lot of friends in the neighborhood because of it. We just keep things moving and try to be honest about what we sell.
