The Peermade Marketing Co -Operative Society Ltd.

Our small team works out of 29/30 on 1st Street in Karpagam Avenue. If you know R.A. Puram, you know it’s generally a bit more relaxed than the city center, which we appreciate. The Peermade Marketing Co-Operative Society Ltd. has been based here for a good while. We are a co-operative, so things work a bit differently than a standard private company. We have a lot of folders and ledger books because we still like to keep physical records of everything. The office has these high ceilings and old-fashioned windows that look out onto the street. You can see people walking their dogs or going to the local shops. It’s a nice environment to work in. We spend our time managing the marketing side of things for our members. There is always a lot of correspondence to deal with. Sometimes we have meetings where everyone talks at once, and it can get a bit loud, but we usually sort things out by the end of the day. We have a small stove in the back where we make tea twice a day. It’s a simple routine. We don't have any of those modern glass partitions or bright neon lights. It’s just a comfortable, slightly cluttered space where we get our tasks done. We aren't in a hurry to change how we do things because this way has worked for us for a long time now.
