Xcellent Care Hospital

Rajalakshmi Nagar is a quiet pocket in Velachery, but the 100 Feet Bypass Road just outside is always a mess with traffic. We are located right on the 7th Cross Street. It is a busy part of the city, and the mornings usually start with the sound of bikes and cars zooming past toward the bypass. Xcellent Care Hospital has been at this spot for a while now. The building is easy enough to spot if you are looking for it, but the turn into the cross street can be missed if you're driving too fast or looking at your phone. Inside, the floors get mopped early before the sun gets too high and makes everything sticky. It gets quite hot in Chennai, so we keep the fans going all day. People come in from all over Velachery. We don't have a big fancy lobby with waterfalls or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where someone sits to answer the phone. Sometimes the phone rings a lot, and other times it is quiet for an hour or two. We spend most of the day just checking things and making sure everything is in its place for the doctors. The staff usually brings lunch from home and eats in the small back room. You can hear the bustle from the main road even when the doors are shut. It’s just a normal day here, nothing too flashy or special. We just keep things moving along. It is a simple routine.
