Our office is over at P.D.3 in the Double Tank Colony on Dr. Ramasamy Salai. K.K. Nagar is a busy part of Chennai, and being right here means we’re always in the middle of things. We’re part of the hospital team, but we mostly handle the administrative side. It’s a lot of managing schedules and dealing with all the records that a place like this generates. The building is practical and built for use, not for looking pretty. There’s a lot of movement all day—people coming in for appointments, families waiting, and staff rushing around. We don’t have a lot of peace and quiet, but that’s just the nature of the job. Our desks are usually covered in forms and folders. We’ve got a small break area where we eat our rice and talk about anything other than work for twenty minutes. It’s a tough job sometimes because people are often stressed when they come here, so we try to be as straightforward as possible. We don't use any fancy language or complicated systems; we just use what works to get people through the system. We’ve been at this location for years, and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It’s a reliable place. We just show up, do our shift, and try to make sure everything runs as smoothly as it can for everyone involved.
