Welco Group

We are located at 75 on Scheme Road in Gopalapuram. People still get confused because the old number was 36, but we’ve been here long enough that most of our regulars know the way. It’s a relatively quiet street compared to the main roads in Chennai. Welco Group operates out of this building, which has a bit of an old-fashioned feel to it. We have a few rooms dedicated to different tasks, but mostly we all end up congregating in the main area to talk about what needs doing. The air conditioner in the corner makes a bit of a rattling sound, but it keeps us cool enough. We aren't big on meetings or long presentations. We usually just talk across the desks to get things sorted. There is a small garden patch out front that we try to keep green, though the heat makes it difficult sometimes. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. It’s a comfortable place to work, not too formal but busy enough to keep us on our toes. We have a routine of getting tea from the same person every morning. It’s just a normal office where we do our best to stay on top of the work without any unnecessary drama or corporate layers. We keep the doors open and just get on with the day's tasks as they arrive.
