We are right in the thick of it at 160/95, Usman Road in T. Nagar. If you’ve ever been to T. Nagar, you know that Usman Road is basically the heart of the shopping chaos in Chennai. There are people everywhere, all the time. Our office is tucked away in the middle of all that. We hear the honking and the shouting from the street from morning until night. It’s a very high-energy place to work. Adampur Distributors has been based here for quite some time. The space itself is filled with boxes and ledgers. We don't have any of those fancy open-plan offices you see on TV. It’s more like stacks of inventory and desks tucked into corners wherever there was room. Moving things in and out of T. Nagar is always a challenge because of the crowds, but we’ve figured out the best times to do it over the years. We usually have a lot of people coming in and out for various pickups and deliveries. It gets a bit hot and cramped in the summer, but the fans keep things moving. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or marketing. We just focus on getting the products where they need to go. It’s a busy, noisy life, but we are used to it by now. The tea stalls nearby are a nice part of being on this road. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in.
