Aakruti Enterprises

Our shop is over in Purasaiwalkam, specifically at No 78 on Dr Alagappa Road. We are quite close to V K Hospital, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Purasaiwalkam is a crowded part of Chennai, and our street is no exception. It’s always buzzing with scooters and pedestrians. Aakruti Enterprises isn’t a massive company; we are a small operation. We have a storefront where we display some of our items, and the back is for storage and administration. The heat in the summer can be quite intense, so we keep the fans running at full speed all day long. We have a few regular customers who stop by just to chat as much as to buy anything. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big strategy meetings. We just look at what needs to be done each morning and we do it. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road traffic, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. Most of our staff lives nearby, so we have a very local feel. We aren't trying to be the biggest business in the city, just a reliable one that the neighborhood knows. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the narrow streets, but we just work around it. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but it’s our daily life and we are used to the rhythm of it. We take it one day at a time here.
