You can find us at number 130, which used to be number 46, on Rama Naicken Street in Nungambakkam. We are quite close to the police station there. At A C & R Appliances, we focus on keeping household machines running like they should. Nungambakkam is a busy part of Chennai, and our street sees a lot of foot traffic. The shop is a bit cramped because we have appliances and tools everywhere. We’ve been here long enough that we remember the old house numbers. It’s a hot city, so people are always coming in with broken fans or fridges. We don't have a fancy storefront with bright lights. It’s just a regular shop where we do repairs and sell a few things. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit sluggish, but we stay busy. We have a small workbench in the back where most of the real work happens. It’s covered in screwdrivers, soldering irons, and bits of wire. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look bigger than we are. People in the neighborhood just know us as the place to go when something stops working. We try to be fair and just get the job done so people can get back to their lives. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it’s worked for us so far.
