We are located on the ground floor of Lakshmi Illam, right on Balaji Street in Rangarajapuram. If you know Kodambakkam, you know how busy these lanes get, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing about. Our office isn’t very big, but it’s where everything for Visithi Agrofoods happens. We spend most of our days talking to suppliers and trying to figure out the logistics of moving food products across the city. It is often hot in Chennai, so we keep the fans running all day long. Sometimes the delivery trucks find it hard to navigate the narrow street, but we’ve managed so far. It’s just a handful of us here, doing the paperwork and making sure the orders are packed right. We aren’t doing anything fancy or high-tech; it’s mostly just manual work and keeping track of inventory on a computer that has seen better days. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try to keep the noise down. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and people in the area recognize us. Working in the agro sector means things are always changing depending on the season, which keeps us on our toes. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just a lot of lists, some heavy lifting, and the occasional tea break from the stall around the corner. We just try to get the work done before the evening traffic starts building up on the main road.
