Vishay Transducers India Ltd

We are based in the Saligramam area of Chennai. The office is located at Number 16/5 on Shanmugam Street. If you’re coming down this way, we are right opposite the Prasad Colour Lab. That’s a pretty famous spot in the neighborhood because of all the film work that happens around here. Saligramam has a lot of that energy. Our street is usually busy with people moving around and small vehicles. The office itself is just a regular building. We’ve been working out of this space for some time, handling the transducers side of the business for Vishay. It’s not a very big street, so sometimes parking is a bit of a headache for people who visit. Inside, it’s just a normal workspace with desks and equipment. We get our fair share of the Chennai heat here, so the fans are always going. Most of the staff live nearby or take the bus. We don’t really do much in the way of decoration. It’s more about having a solid place to sit and get through the daily list of things to do. The area has a lot of small shops and eateries, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick coffee or tiffin. It’s a very local feel, nothing like those big IT parks on the outskirts. We like being in the middle of a real neighborhood where things are happening. Just a simple office in a busy part of town.
