Running a business in Padi can be quite a challenge with all the noise and traffic outside. Our place is located on Ayyothi Amman Koli Street, right in the thick of things. We have been at number 23 for a while now. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and sweeping out the front. We handle electronics of all kinds, mostly stuff people use in their homes every day. The shelves are packed with boxes, and sometimes it is hard to find exactly what a customer is looking for right away. It is a bit cramped inside, but we make it work. Chennai heat is no joke, so we have a couple of noisy fans that never seem to turn off. Sometimes a customer comes in with a device that is so old we have to tell them the parts aren't even made anymore. We don't try to sound like a big company because we are just a small local shop. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get busy in the evenings. We see a lot of people passing by on their way to the temple. It’s a good spot, even if the parking is a nightmare. Accsys Electronics is just a regular part of the street now. We try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door and keep things simple.
