Coromandal Electronics

Coromandal Electronics is our small shop over at No 44A on 7th Cross Street in Srinivasa Nagar. We are right in the Manikodi area of Chennai. If you know this part of the city, you know it can get pretty humid and busy. We spend our days surrounded by circuit boards, wires, and various electronic parts. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, but that is the nature of working with electronics. There is always a soldering iron heating up somewhere. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our space is taken up by workbenches and shelves full of components. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good while, and many of the locals stop by when something stops working. Sometimes it’s a quick fix, and other times we have to hunt for a part that isn't made anymore. We just take it as it comes. It’s a quiet street for the most part, except for the occasional delivery truck. We like being part of the Srinivasa Nagar community. The shop has a ceiling fan that never stops, and we usually have the radio playing in the background. It’s not a fancy business, just a place where we use our hands to fix things. We keep the 600 096 area covered as best as we can from our little corner on 7th Cross. The smell of solder and the hum of old machines are just part of our daily life.
