Allied Electronics Co is based in Jaganathapuram, which is a part of Chennai. You can find us at 1/116 on Laksmiamman Koil Street. It’s a busy little street, and we’ve been here for quite some time. Being in electronics means we always have parts and tools lying around. There are usually some old radios or circuit boards on the back shelf that we haven't gotten around to sorting out yet. The office isn't very big, and it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of stuff coming in. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. People usually just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. We are near the temple, so we hear the bells and the music during festival times. It makes for a nice atmosphere, even if it gets a bit loud. We focus on the work we have in front of us. Most days involve a lot of checking components and making sure everything is wired correctly. It’s steady, quiet work for the most part. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people in the neighborhood who know where we are. We like being in Jaganathapuram. It’s a friendly place and everyone seems to know everyone else. We just do our electronics work and try to keep the shop in some kind of order as we go about our day.
