Vincent Soda

We are set up at 47/20 on Canal Bank Road in T Nagar. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it is always busy and loud. There is always water or traffic near the canal, and the air is thick. Our shop is tucked away but we have enough space for our soda crates. We spend most of our time out back where the bottling happens. It’s a lot of clinking glass and wet floors. T Nagar is a place where people are always rushing, so we try to keep things ready for the quick pickups. The building is a bit cramped, honestly. We have boxes piled up to the ceiling sometimes. We don't use any fancy machinery, just the basic stuff that has worked for years. The signboard outside is a little faded from the sun, but people know where Vincent Soda is. My family has been around this area for a long time. We drink tea from the stall next door and watch the scooters go by. It’s not a glamorous job, especially when it rains and the road gets muddy. But we like the routine of it. We open early and close when the last crate is moved. There’s no big philosophy here, just making sure the soda is fizzy and the customers get what they paid for. It is just a plain, honest business on a very busy road.
