Vinaya Spices

We started Vinaya Spices right here on Vadakkupattu Main Road because we saw a need for real stuff in Medavakkam. It’s not a big fancy factory or anything like that. Just a small place where we handle the spices people use every single day in their kitchens. Most mornings start early with deliveries coming in and us sorting through things to make sure the quality is okay. We don't do a lot of fancy advertising or have a big team of sales people. It’s mostly just us working behind the counter or in the back room where we do the packing. The traffic on this road can get pretty bad in the evenings, so we try to get most of the heavy work done before the rush starts. Sometimes the smell of the chilies or the turmeric gets a bit strong in the shop, but you get used to it after a few years. We know most of the neighbors by name now since they’ve been coming to us for their monthly supplies for a long time. It’s a simple business, really. We just buy what we need, clean it up, and sell it to the people who live nearby. There isn't much more to it than that. We try to keep things honest and the prices fair so people keep coming back. If you’re ever walking down toward Medavakkam, you’ll probably see our sign. It's nothing special but it gets the job done for us and the community.
