Vin Etena (Opc) Private Limited is based out of a small spot on Madaveethi Cross Street. If you know the Narayanapuram area in Pallikaranai, you know it is a bit tucked away from the main road. It’s mostly houses around here, so it’s quiet enough to actually get things done. This is a one-person company officially, though there is usually someone else around helping out or fixing a lightbulb. The office is at No. 42 and it has a small sign out front that the wind sometimes blows a bit crooked. Most of the work involves sitting at a desk and making phone calls or dealing with stacks of paperwork for hours. Chennai weather is always humid, so there is a lot of tea and water being consumed throughout the day. It’s not a corporate skyscraper by any means. It’s just a room with a laptop, some metal files, and a chair that squeaks a bit too much when you sit down. The address in Kancheepuram district is where we registered everything and where we plan to stay. We are trying to grow at our own pace. It is not about being the biggest name out there, just about making sure the work is finished properly. Sometimes the power goes out and everything stops for a bit, which is just part of living in Pallikaranai. We don’t have fancy brochures or a PR person. If you come by, you’ll just find me working.
