Our office is tucked away at 47/1 Sivaswamy Salai, right in the heart of Mylapore. Vijeta Marines Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this building for years. It’s an old neighborhood with a lot of character, and we fit right in. We spend our time managing marine supplies and coordinating with boats and docks. It’s a lot of logistics, really. Some days are quiet, just filing papers and making calls, while other days are chaotic when a shipment is late or something breaks down. We aren't a huge corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a dedicated group of people who understand the water and what ships need to stay running. The office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but the windows let in a decent breeze from the street. We’ve seen the area change a lot over time, but our spot remains the same. People come by for advice on parts or to settle accounts. We try to keep things simple and clear. There’s no need for complicated talk when you’re just trying to get a job done. If you walk down Sivaswamy Salai, you’ll see our small sign out front. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just reliable enough that people keep coming back. It’s a steady life here in Mylapore, working with the sea in our own way. We keep the kettle on and focus on getting the daily manifests sorted out.
