Vijaya Physiotherapy Clinic

Our clinic is tucked away on Vanniar Street in Choolaimedu, right near the Rajeshwari Appartment building. It’s a narrow and busy street, and No 141/14 is where we have set up our space. This is a physiotherapy clinic, so when you walk in, you’ll usually see people doing their exercises or getting help with things like back pain or stiff shoulders. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for the treatment tables and the equipment we use for the exercises. We have a lot of regular patients who come in several times a week. Some are older folks who are trying to stay mobile, and others are younger people who might have hurt themselves at work or playing sports. Choolaimedu is a very crowded neighborhood, so finding a place to park a car can be a real struggle, though bikes usually find a spot. We don’t have a formal receptionist sitting at a big desk. It’s usually just us working directly with the people who come in. We keep the ceiling fans going to make sure the air stays fresh while people are moving around. We like working here because we get to see people actually get better over time. It’s good to see someone who was struggling to walk finally move without much pain. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a TV, just a simple room where we get to work. It’s a hands-on job and we wouldn't want it any other way.
