We have been sitting here at Rajalakshmi Nagar for a while now. The yard is located on 9th Cross Street, right at Lat No. G2. If you are looking for granite, we have different slabs piled up. It's a busy spot in Velachery. My family and a few helpers run the place daily. We spend most of our mornings moving stones around and checking what just came in. It gets quite dusty, to be honest. People usually walk in because they are fixing up a kitchen or a floor and want to see the colors in person. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just the stone and some tools to cut them. The street can be a bit tight for big trucks, but we manage. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we try to stay open regular hours. Most neighbors know us just by the sound of the saws. We keep a variety of local granite types. It is heavy work, but it's what we do. We try to give people what they need without a lot of talk. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, covered in a bit of stone dust. That’s just how it is here. We focus on the inventory we have on hand. It's a straightforward business. Sometimes people ask for specific patterns, and we go through the stacks together. It takes time to find the right piece. We just keep working until the sun goes down.
