Sathyam Impex

Sathyam Impex is based at No.5 on the 5th Main Road in Chromepet. We’re quite close to the petrol pump, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The area around Purushot is always busy with vehicles and people going about their business. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a regular building where we handle our daily trading and import tasks. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that have seen better days, and usually a lot of paperwork piled up. Dealing with shipping schedules and customs can be a headache, but it’s what we do every day. We’ve been operating in Chromepet for a number of years and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The traffic on the main road can be tough in the evenings, but we’re usually tucked inside finishing up our logs by then. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the ropes. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking emails to make sure things are moving as they should. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to explain that to people. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We just focus on getting the items from one place to another without too much fuss. That’s the reality of running a small impex business in this part of the city.
