Shree Charbhuja Marbles & Granite

We are located over at Plot No. 23 and 26 in Chozhan Nagar, right off MTH Road in Thandurai, Pattabiram. The yard is full of heavy slabs of stone. Shree Charbhuja Marbles & Granite is mostly about moving these big pieces around without breaking them. It's a lot of physical labor. We have stacks of granite in different colors and marble that needs to be handled carefully. The dust from cutting the stone gets on everything, so we're always hosing things down. It keeps the place a bit wet and muddy sometimes. People come by to pick out a slab for their kitchen or floors. They spend time walking between the rows, looking at the patterns in the stone. We show them what we have in stock. Some of the pieces are really heavy and need the crane to move. It’s a bit of a process to get everything loaded onto the trucks. We don't have a fancy office, just a small space to sit and talk. Mostly we are outside in the yard. The sun can be pretty harsh out there on the MTH Road side. When it’s rainy, the yard gets really messy, but we still have to get the orders out. We use some heavy plastic sheets to cover the stones. We have a small dog that hangs around the gate and barks at the delivery trucks. He's been here as long as we have. We're used to the noise and the constant heavy lifting.
