Vasuki Hospital

Our hospital, Vasuki Hospital, is located at No 60 A Arcot Road in the Valasaravakkam area. We are in a very recognizable spot because we are right opposite the Shivan Temple and also right by the Kesavardhini Bus Stop. Having the bus stop so close means there are always people standing around outside or getting on and off the buses. Arcot Road is a major route, so the traffic is pretty much constant from dawn until late at night. We have gotten used to the sound of the engines and the temple bells ringing across the street. It is a busy environment to work in. The hospital isn't very fancy. We have plain walls and tiled floors that we mop several times a day to keep the dust down. Being near the Kesavardhini Bus Stop makes it very convenient for our staff and patients to get here. We don't have a big parking lot, so the bus is usually the best way to arrive. Inside, we just have our equipment and the rooms for people to stay in. We have a small desk at the front where someone usually sits to talk to people when they walk in. It’s a very practical setup. We’ve been part of Valasaravakkam for a long time, and we just keep doing our work every day without much fuss. The staff here is a small group and we all know each other well. We just try to get through the day and help the people who come in.
