Vasagan Granite

Our place is located at No.34, Somasundaram Avenue in Porur. It’s a busy part of Shakti Nagar, and we’ve been operating Vasagan Granite from this spot for quite some time. It’s not a complicated operation. We have the granite slabs laid out so people can see what they’re getting. Sometimes the yard gets a bit crowded when a new shipment comes in. You might have to walk around a bit to see everything. My brother and I handle most of the daily stuff. Customers usually come in with measurements for their counters or stairs. We just show them what’s available on the floor. Porur is a good area to be in, though traffic on Somasundaram Avenue can be a bit of a headache during the afternoons. We don't spend much time on computers or fancy office stuff. Most of our time is spent out with the stone. It’s heavy work, but it’s honest. We’ve seen a lot of houses in the neighborhood get built using stuff from our yard. If you’re coming by, look for the big sign. We don't really do the whole sales pitch thing. We just tell you what the stone is and what it costs. It’s a pretty basic way of doing business, but it seems to work for the people around here. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down, just getting things ready for the next day's deliveries.
