Our group, Vanmugil Collective Farming Farmer Producer Company Limited, operates from the Agri Business Centre in Thamaraipakkam Post. We are right near the Vengal Road in the Anaikattu area. It's a decent spot in Thiruvallur where we can get together and manage our farming business. We have a lot of farmers who are part of this collective. Usually, you’ll find some of us at the centre discussing the latest prices or looking at some equipment. The area around Tiruvallur-601103 is mostly farmland, so we feel right at home here. We don't spend much on decorations or fancy furniture; we’d rather put that into the farming stuff. The Agri Business Centre is a practical place for us because it has the space we need. Sometimes the days are very hot, and we just sit inside and wait for the sun to go down a bit before heading back out. We started this because we figured we’d be better off working as one big unit instead of everyone struggling on their own. It’s mostly just hard work and hoping for a good season. We don't really have any big secrets or special tricks. We just use what we know about the land and try to keep things moving. If you walk by near Vengal Road, you might see us loading up some produce or just chatting about the weather and the crops. It's a busy life but it is what we know.
