Vanaja Hospital

Vanaja Hospital is located at No.4/198 & 199 on M.A.Kovil Street. We are in M.A.Nagar, which is part of Padianallur Village in the Ponneri Taluk of Thiruvallur District. It’s a bit of a long address, but we are right here in Padianallur. The hospital is a regular part of the street life here on M.A.Kovil Street. We see people from all over the village and the surrounding taluk. The building is functional and has been through many seasons. We don’t have any of those glossy posters on the walls. Mostly, it’s just notices for the patients and some old calendars. The staff here are mostly local people who understand how things work in this part of Thiruvallur. We deal with whatever comes through the door, from small scrapes to bigger problems. It can get quite busy on certain days, especially when there’s a local event going on. We don’t try to look like a city hospital. We are a village hospital and we are fine with that. There’s usually a bit of a crowd near the entrance, and the sounds of the street come in through the windows. We keep our instruments clean and our records in big ledgers. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps us connected to what’s happening in Padianallur. We just stay open and do our best for everyone who lives nearby. The fan in the main hall makes a clicking noise, but it works fine for us.
